Mount Washington, at 6,288 feet, is the highest peak in New Hampshire and the entire Northeast. It boasts some of the planet's most severe weather, and retains the world record for wind speed of 231 MPH. There are several ways to reach the summit. You can drive the Mt. Washington Auto Road, take the Mt. Washington Cog Railway or hike via the Tuckerman Ravine trail from Pinkham Notch Visitor Center. I was not able to hike to the summit because of bad weather and trail closures, so this microbox is not too far along the trail. I hope to go back some day and move it to the summit.

Directions:
For Pinkham Notch Visitor Center, take Rt 16 north from Jackson about 10 miles. Tuckerman Ravine Trail head is behind the Visitor Center.

Clues:
Hike the Tuckerman Ravine trail to Crystal Cascade viewpoint, which branches off to the right of the main trail and goes up some steps. When ready to find the box, continue on the main trail going uphill for about 90 steps. Look to the right for a birch tree with a sign saying "Please Stay On Trail" about 10 feet off trail. It also has a dead tree attached to it. The camo microbox is within the crotch of the two trees under a flat rock. Please rehide well.
