This letterbox is hidded at Falls Creek Falls. To get there follow the signs from Winthrop to Pearrygin Lake State Park. Do not take the turn for Pearrygin Lake but continue on this road for approximatley 10 miles. Along the way you will enter the Okanogan National Forest. Continue past 8 mile SnoPark until you reach the Falls Creek Campground. Across the road is the trail for Falls Creek Falls.

The trail to the falls is a short, paved walk. Cross the footbridge near the falls and take the trail to your left. Head down the trail and look for a large pine that stands tall & strong in spite of its exposed heart. As you face the tree, scan the rocks for a giant gray twinkie. Under the uphill end of the twinkie, after a little excavation, you will find not a creamy center but a happy little camper. After you've documented your find, please carefully hide him back in his cozy camping site.

While you are there be sure to explore the trails around the falls. There is a hidden falls up above. Be careful on a hot day. You may even encounter some unclothed hikers enjoying the cool mist on the rocks!

This is the first box I've hidden and I do not live in that area so I would love to hear from you when you've found it. regmar21@verizon.net
