For this box please get a map of the Trout Brook Valley Preserve from the Aspetuck Land Trust at their web site www.aspetucklandtrust.org. The preserve is on Bradley road Weston) but can be accessed by other parking lots from the Crow and Jump Hill preserves. Be aware of the hunting borders and that you cannot hunt in Connecticut on Sundays. I f you have problems down loading the map there are maps at the site, not at the parking lot but maybe another 100 yards up the white trail (spot #46).

Go to #34
Go north on the blue /white trail, and then up the hill. Watch out in winter you may want to come in from the west end of the blue white trail. At the top it seems like the trail goes left and right. To go left brings you to the overlook (you have to take a look down the valley). You might want to go right and get the box first. Go 32 steps up the trail. On your left should be a tree with a trail marker. Turn to 90 degrees and take 12 steps. North of the tree, between it and the larger rock is “The Observer” Letterbox. Please re-hide well, it is real close to the trail.
