For this box please get a map of the Trout Brook Valley Preserve from the Aspetuck Land Trust at their web site www.aspetucklandtrust.org. The preserve is on Bradley road Weston but can be accessed by other parking lots from the Crow and Jump Hill preserves. Be aware of the hunting borders and that you cannot hunt in Connecticut on Sundays. If you have problems down loading the map there are maps at the site, not at the parking lot but maybe another 100 yards up the white trail (spot #46).

The Vulture in Washington

Go to #5

Go up White /Orange (north, roughly) trail about 80 steps. This should get you past one rock wall on the left and bring you to a second wall on the left and the White/Orange trail split. Along south side of wall take 11 steps. The Vulture in Washingtonā€¯ Letterbox is in the base of the wall, with a front door. The wall is sort of broken up for a little so the box is at the end. 9/1/06 A boxer who did find this felt that "at the end before the break in the wall" was a better way to say the clue.
