This box is currently MIA. Stay tuned for an update....

This is our family’s first letterbox to hide and, I must admit, the carving was harder than I expected. I have a new respect for all those who have so artfully crafted the stamps and boxes we have found in the past. To them, we say “Thank you!”

This box is in Bush Pasture Park. Park your car (or bike) in the small parking lot between the Bush House Museum and the Bush Barn Art Center. You can access this lot from Bush Street, just off of High Street.

Clues to the box:

Roses are red,
Violets are blue.
Our family has hidden
this letter box for you.

Go to Bush Park
and follow the sidewalk,
that goes along Bush Street
for no more than a block.

There under a tree,
you’ll find a nice place to rest.
Tom’s bench is a place in this park,
where the view is the best.

From here, follow the grass path
all the way to the light.
Then pass in front of the gazebo
until Razzle Dazzle’s in sight.

Just a bit further,
you’ll pass in front of Frau Dagmar Hartopp.
Then continue past Eva’s bench,
until you come to a stop.

There you will see,
just NE of it all,
the Diversity Tree
that will hold apples each fall.

Now straight to the west.
Twelve paces you’ll plot.
Hidden down under,
you’ll find the box in this spot.

Sambuccus nigra
is the name of this tree.
Lift a rock to the north
and there it will be.

Thanks for the search!
Thanks for the fun!
Now go carve a stamp,
so we can find one. 
