Despite the name, there is no water at bywater park. So don't ask how a sockeye salmon happened to get there. It is an out of the way park whose coordinates are about 3100 East & 7300 South.
When you find the place, sit at the bottom of a fifteen step stairwell. To your right is a lone fir tree surrounded by juniper bushes. The box is buried at the base of this tree, covered by a dozen small rocks
