Route 95 South to Exit 50. Follow signs to Ferncroft Road (first right).
FROM THE SOUTH
Route 93 North to Boston. Take Route 128 North to Route 95 North. Take exit 50, Topsfield exit. Bear left at Route 1 South, Danvers. Take first right onto Ferncroft Road.
Once on Ferncroft Road, You will pass North Shore Community College. Shortly after North Shore Community College you will see a sign on the left that says:

Conservation Area
Park in the small parking area here.
This is a Hitchhiker Hostel. Normal Hostel rules apply. It must always contain at least one Hitchhiker at all times. If there is more than one, you may take one without leaving any as long as there is one left in the box. If there is more than one hitchhiker and you only have one to exchange or you don’t have a hitchhiker to exchange, please feel free to log your visit in all hitchhikers.
There is also a host stamp and log in its own sub-container. Be sure not to remove the host.
Get out of your car and enjoy the view. Looking left you will see a small footbridge. The hostel is under the far side of the footbridge. Use one of the nearby picnic tables for a very comfortable place to stamp in.

Sheraton Ferncroft Hitchhiker Hostel
The Sheraton Ferncroft Hotel is one of the most popular and well known resorts along the North Shore of Massachusetts. I felt it was somehow fitting that there should be a Hitchhiker Hostel nearby. This small conservation area seemed like the perfect place.Get out of your car and enjoy the view. Looking left you will see a small footbridge. The hostel is under the far side of the footbridge.
