Rooted In Three…

Find the Walking Trail at Central Carolina Community College in Pittsboro, NC. (link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_Carolina_Community_College).

You can start your journey at the statue of a child. There is a quote on the statue from Jane Adams:

Children become largely what they are taught, hence we must watch what we teach and how we live.

Take the paved path into the wooded area. Don't go backwards and cross the road, but proceed straight ahead.

Life is like that. At first the journey is easy and level. Sure there are some curves in the road but it is still consistent. In the distance you often can see areas where growth is happening. Things are easy and happy.

But then you come to a time when you decide to make a detour, just knowing it will lead you to Paradise. The road here may not be paved as nicely. It may be rocky and uneven. Maybe a bit narrower. While the road feels tighter, you can sometimes look to friends to be a bridge for you. Sometimes it gets so confusing that you might need to stop and think for a moment. Find a place to sit to get away from it all.

During those times you might decide on some steps to take thinking you will get back on the easy road. But from time to time the steps just take you down.

When you are at the bottom of the last step, you may look around and see no way to cross the water in front of you. But be reassured. During your search, you haven't been alone in your journey. There are three living beings that have stood behind you as you stood there contemplating what to do next. They stand tall and strong. Paradise really is at the foot of the tallest, strongest one. At His feet, you will find your treasure.

When you finish stamping, please re-hide and then make your way back to the paved walkway. Enjoy the rest of the walk and the exercise stations.
