Where now stands a golf course & hoity-toity neighborhood, there used to be an old haunted mill. I decided to bring the old mill back as a letterbox. The only peice of the old mill property left is a small unmarked park, called "Old Mill Park." It's behind the strip mall at abount 3100 E & Big Cottonwood Canyon Rd. The big cottonwood flows into a pond here, then goes off to water-treatment resevoir number four.
From the north side of the park, head up river. You'll soon find a 6' stove pipe coming out of the ground. Go about 40 steps further upstream. directly on your left is a scarred rock. It vaugely resembles the skull of Barney the dinosaur. It is at the edge of some shrubbery. There are other rocks here, suitab for sitting on. The box is behind the first rock of note.
