This box can be found at the nature center in Rockville, MD. Here is a link to them for better directions and a list of activities, etc. http://www.rockvillemd.gov/croydoncreek/index.html
Park in front of the nature center. You can go inside and check out the owl or the mural or do some creature rubbings, but there's no letterbox inside. Go out the back door by the mural. Head to your left, go past the birdfeeder area. Follow the semi-cirular grassy path into the meadow. We got covered in 1 million tiny baby grasshoppers. Pass a filled in water well on your right. Now you come back to the nature center (Ok, I had to put a walk in there, you could have skipped that part) You'll see a weather vane on your right. Follow the paved path straight ahead past the nature center to the parking lot. Now, turn gently left and follow the sidewalk til it just about ends. To your left you will see a split rail fence. At the very end of the fence it goes to the ground. Slyly reach into that point under some leaves. And yes you could just hop out of the car right there but a detour is more fun.
