One of the wolfpack is really a mythical cerberus! It’s your job to find him. You may want to bring your own stamp pad so all the boxes match.
CLUES UPDATED 1/14/07

Box 1-Start at one of the landmarks for the University, where Quazimodo might be found. From there, head Northwest just past the little building named for flowers, but stop before you get to the building where students might study about our hunchback friend. To your right you will find a fount with no water. Go around to the back of the fount and standing directly behind it, face Hillsborough Street (12:00). Turn to 11:00 and walk to the fence. Behind the bushes, in the ivy that crawls up the fence you will find the first head of the mighty Cerberus.

Box 2-Continue your journey westward across the open land and up the hill. Find your way between the buildings until you see a garden where a professor met his match in a Medusa. From here continue west and find the tree behind where one can still hear the ill-fated lover of Narcissus. (Be sure to stop and listen to her song). From the tree walk 13-15 paces to the bushes to the south. Where two bushes meet, there lurks the second of the Cerberus’s heads!

Box 3-Finally, walk or take a bus to the South, but stop just before you hit the street named for the West. Find the building where Narcissus would prefer to look that is named for a river of Biblical miracles. Here the medusa has struck again—this time capturing a tree with her evil gaze. Head past the concrete map of the state and go beneath the Medusa’s concrete tree. From here turn to your left and head into the trees untouched by her gaze. There you will find two hidden benches. In between the two benches are two trees that are closer together than the others. Search in the leaves at the base of the southern side of these trees for the last of the Cerberus’s three heads. Be sure to hide the box well!

Note: Distance listed is approximate and depends on if you take a bus or walk to Box 3. You can also drive, but parking is easier near Box 1 than near Box 3. A campus map is available online and may be useful. A compass could come in handy, but if you have an idea what direction is what, you'll be fine without one.
