Difficulty: Easy
Big Creek Park is part of the Geauga Park District and is located at 9160 Robinson Road in Chardon, Ohio. Take Ravenna Road north from the Square in Chardon. Turn right on Woodin Road, then left on Robinson Road. Turn left into Big Creek Park and follow the signs to the Meyer Center. You may want to go in to the Meyer Center for a trail map.
>From the front door of the Meyer Center, take the path back toward the parking lot. Stay to the right of the parking lot as you face it. Take the first path on the right after you pass gray metal gates. It is the Cascade Trail.
At the first intersection, take the Beachwoods trail to the right. At the "Y" intersection, go left. When you reach a paved path, turn left. At the bridge, you will notice a dirt path to the left. From the edge of the pavement, take seven paces to the tree on the right hand side of the dirt path. Just below the tree is a pile of rocks. Under the triangle shaped rock, you will discover the Big Creek Park Letterbox. Please re-hide well and enjoy your day at the Park.
