Follow Wilson St. east off of Highland Ave. keep going past Gina's Restaurant

(if it is before 2: p.m. stop and tell Gina's of your adventure for a FREE beverage with your meal- Simply tell them your on a Good News Letterboxing Adventure.


Continue straight onto the rougher road (hold on to your teeth). Before you get to the water, park on the on left side of the road by the Yellow Gate. You will see a sign that says Tattapanum Trail.
When you enter the trail and follow the path which leads to a fork by a sign. Go to the right and follow that trail. Stay on the path. You with wind up and down the trail an over a fallen tree.
Head Up the trail where the roots on the trail (rough ground) criss/cross between the ferns. Rest a bit at Cobble Crossing or under the cedar trees. Continue through a stone wall opening. You've come to the top of the hill with a nice view and a flat top rock.
After you have looked around continue up the trail past the tree with the hole in its foot. Follow the trail down into the cedars * look to the right and you will see a tree growing out of the rocks * and that is where the treasure will be. Please follow the instructions you find to win a prize if the treasure has already been claimed.

Bring your camera and some bug spray if it is mosquito season, and enjoy this area which is teeming with wildlife. If you are quiet and keep alert you will find everything from bunnies to a deer family that is watching as you pass.
