Note: 4/13/2015 Box is confirmed missing.

This letterbox is in the free out of doors, but we recommend searching for the letterbox on Saturdays from 10 to 6 or Sundays from noon to 5, when the building the box is located at is open. It is a fun trip through the past and one of Columbus’ best-kept secrets. There is no admission charge, though a donation of $5 for adults and $2 for children over 6 is recommended.

Consider bringing a bicycle and taking a ride afterwards. The letterbox is located at the beginning of the Heritage Rail/Trail bike path in Hilliard, Ohio. The parking lot for this rails-to-trails path is near the corner of Center Street and Wayne Street near downtown Hilliard From the bike path’s parking lot, walk across the parking lot to 5396 Franklin Street, Hilliard, Ohio.

The door to the building is on the south side, toward the east. The letterbox is located within a log behind the furthest bush.

Background note: We have no relationship to the museum or its owner. The box was planted with the museum owner's permission, though.
