NEW BOX, NEW LOGBOOK, NEW STAMP. SAME GREAT FAMILY FRIENDLY WALK. The first box was muggled twice, then finally destroyed. Please, please, please use caution when accessing this box, and rehide it well.

Discription:
A quiet family-friendly walk, a little over 1 mile round trip. Essentially flat, stroller and wheelchair friendly, though those wheelchair confined will need assistance retrieving and returning the letterbox. Depending on what time of year you are travelling through, there are varied birds and wildflowers along the walk and many trees. Your furry family members are welcome, but must be leashed; please be responsible and clean up after your pet.

Directions:
In Colorado Springs, I-25 north to Briargate Parkway (exit 151). Take Briargate Parkway east to Austin Bluffs. Turn right (south) on Austin Bluffs to Family Place. Right (west) on Family Place and park in the YMCA/John L. Stone Park parking lot.

Clues:
At the northeast corner of the skatepark, find the sign describing John L. Stone. Follow the sidewalk along Family Pl. east towards Austin Bluffs. Turn south along Austin Bluffs keeping to the sidewalk until it intersects a gravel path heading roughly northwest and veering west. Take the gravel path past Casey's Rock and continue until it returns to concrete. At the first intersection, veer left and follow the path. At the next intersection, continue south. At the triangular flowerbed, stay to the right and continue on the path as it turns west. Cross the asphalt "river" at Cottage and continue south along the concrete walk. Soon ahead, come to a "lake" of stones. In the center is an "island" with 3 long needled pines and 1 blue spruce. Veer to the right of the lake to find a space into the center of the island between the 4 trees. Find the letterbox nestled beneath the outer edge Mugho pine between the northernmost pine and the blue spruce.

Pen in the box, and there is an inkpad. Please replace the box where found and recover with needles so it is not noticed by passers-by. Return the way you came. On your return, enjoy the park and it's amenities, including a playground, picnic areas, skate park, basketball court and your furry family will enjoy the open grassy area. Thanks and enjoy.
