From Marblemount, travel east on State Highway 20. After passing milepost 110, continue 0.6 mile more to a paved pullout on the left (north) side of the highway. It is just before a bridge over Bacon Creek. There is a road closed sign at the back of the pullout. Park at the pullout.

Walk northeast over the old pavement to the end of the pavement. Turn left and you will see a round wood post (about 2 feet high) with a long bolt sticking out of the top of it. From that post, go at about 316 degrees (from magnetic north) for about 30 steps to a large three-trunk Maple Tree. The box is hidden in the middle of the trunks (the crotch) under a rock that is covered with moss.

Please be sure the contents are double ziplocked when you put them back in the box (i.e. the stamp is in a ziploc, the book is in a ziploc, and the two are in the larger ziploc bag). Please rehide the box well under the rock and covered with moss so that it can not be seen from any direction.

I will not be able to check on this box; so, please let me know if you find it or if it is missing or needs attention:
