We recommend NOT wearing beach gear to locate this box.

Welcome to Sunset Beach, a family-friendly paradise since 1958! Go across the bridge onto the island. The bridge is closed to cars on the hour, so time your trip accordingly.

Once across the bridge, follow the road to the shopping area and park your car. (We suggest parking at the Sunset Beach Trading Company on your left; get a scoop of ice cream to enjoy on your quest!)

After parking, turn left toward the ocean. At the stop sign, head for the west end of the island along Main Street. Watch for the "Yonder II" beach house on a corner. Turn onto this side street. (You can only turn one way.) Follow this street to the end, then turn right.

Continue walking to the stop sign. On the left corner, there will be a wooded field. Near the tallest tree, find a smaller tree with "twin trunks". Search near the base of this tree on the far side for our box. Be careful - the reedy grass can be sharp. Sorry we won't be there to welcome you, but we've "Gone to the Beach"!
