Sorry, 3 out of the 5 boxes are missing.

Walk: Easy- on wide paved Milford Bike Trail. Great for kids! About 2 miles.
You will walk out and then turn around and walk back.
There is an abundance of clover on both sides of the path which adds to your pleasant walk.

Boxes nearby: Visit- “Happy Trails 3” –placed by our good friends, Girlies

Stamps: 5 - Handed Carved

Allowed: bikes, rollerblades, dogs, strollers

Please: No Littering, No swimming, Nothing motorized

Needed: You will need bug spray and a Compass.
As always, be careful of poison ivy and bushes
with thorns.

Directions: 495 to exit 20 Milford Rt. 85
Off the exit - turn toward Milford
At the first set of lights, go right at the
Wendy’s onto Dilla Road. Approximately ½ mile on
your right will be a parking lot for Louisa Lake
and the Milford Bike Trial.
Turn in- Park – Go through the black metal bicycle
gate and begin up the trail.

Clues:
Walk up the bike path, past the lake and a wooden fence, until you reach a smaller paved path to your left with a black post in the middle of the path.
Walk down this path, you should see the end very soon. Another black post indicates the end.
Half way between these black posts on your right you will see an old fallen tree.
Follow this fallen tree to its top. In front of the top of this fallen tree is a tall alive tree.
Behind this tree under sticks and leaves you will find a bear of black and gold once worn by Esposito, Orr, Neely, and Bourque!

Once you find the box go back to the main path.
Continue down the main path past Shadow Brook Condos on your left, past a wooden fence on both sides of the path,
until you reach a small section of the path that would allow cars to “pull over”. Perhaps, a rest area for strollers.
Face the woods- on the left of this paved rest area is a large boulder.
Go behind the large boulder – you will see a 4 ft. high, thin stump that was burned.
Between the large boulder and the stump you will find a team that has won 16 world titles.
They may need a little help from their leprechaun friend to win number 17.

Continue down the path past a rock seat on your left,
past another rock bench on your right,
past a large man made rock structure on your left, perhaps this was part of a bridge.
If you know what this structure was made for or was a part of please e-mail me and let me know!
You are looking for a black metal gate on your right!
Across the main bike path from the black metal gate are two large rocks/ small boulders.
Around the back of these rocks/boulders, between them, under pinecones you will find a team of red, white, and blue that plays the most popular sport in the world. These men are still playing for their first world title.

If you wish to follow the path to the end before turning around it is another 5-10 minutes walk to the end.

Otherwise you can turn around here and follow the bike path back where you came from.

Follow the path back past letterbox #3, #2, and #1.
After you pass the black metal post on your right you are looking for a small paved pull off on your right.
There are three large rocks beside this pull off.
Stand at the middle bolder with your back to the water.
Find the rock in the woods, across the path, at 123 degrees.
Watch out for thorns.
On the left side, slightly behind the rock is a small cement post.
Behind the small cement post you will find the home town team who finally won the World Series after an 85 year hiatus.

Once again, continue down the bath, back to the beginning of the bike path.
Across from the picnic area, you will find your last letterbox.
Look for a pebble path up a small hill a few feet behind a large red rock.
Walk up the path and go left, 10-15 feet.
You will see lots of rocks and boulders.
Behind the largest boulder under a small white rock you will find the colors of the team that rose from the depths of the NFL to a DYANSTY winning 3 out of 4 Super Bowls in the new millennium.

We hope you enjoyed your letterboxing experience.
