CLUES

Whether sad for a loss or glad for a win, if all the world’s a stage, it is best to be centerstage than not on stage at all. And though the lights can often become unbearable there – 250 degrees at least! – it is truly the best position from which to begin a life adventure.
As one begins a journey, the path one chooses may lead down and down again, before it throws a hurdle in your way. In truth, you may encounter as many as four such hurdles in succession before coming upon greener pastures.
It has been said that the grass is always greener on the other side. Although this adage may hold truth, on first must cross one’s own pasture to reach the other side. Take care, as you wander, to dodge any obstacles you encounter, especially those that fall harder the bigger they are.
Upon reaching the “other side”, life often presents a river to cross, whether real or imagined, water or asphalt. Regardless, like an independent oak, one must remain steadfast in one’s journey, yet fluid like the river, able to forge ever onward, flowing effortlessly between whatever stands in stead. Only then will the goal one seeks be close at hand.
As with any quest, the path upon which one travels is often laden with simple pleasures, like oak leaves beneath the soles, if only we attend to such imminent, seemingly trite encounters. For quite often such encounters lead to unexpected treasures which lie, like a rock beneath a juniper, sheltered and safe from all but those who seek to find them.
Bon voyage.
