At the foothills of the Cumberland Plateau near Sparta Tn. is an historic early American Frontier Home. It is located at the point where an early railroad connection crossed the Wilderness Trail. It was once a gathering place for the Who's Who of the American frontier. Such visitors have been President Andrew Jackson and President James K. Polk. While you are there take a look around, read the monuments and enjoy a little of Tennessee's early history. Come on Monday, Wednesday or Fridays between 10:00 a.m. and 3.00p.m. and take a tour. You will find great people that would love to tell you the history of The Rock House.

From Sparta take Hwy. 70E approx. 4 miles

To find the box.... From the front porch looking toward the parking lot take 25 paces to the fence edge...turn left and follow the fence.. At the last post look for the rock and the cedar tree.. Look around under brush and leaves and you will find it. Leave us a note to let us know you found it. Cover it up when you leave.
