Make your way to Cloud Cap Inn, the oldest building on the mountain. That in and of itself is a chore. I've stayed there in the winter and in the summer and while it was easier in the summer to get there it was still a lot of work. Head around and find the 6000' boulder. With your back to it and the mountain, head to the deck in front of you. Under the left corner, right up against the building you will find three or four rocks. Lift the flat one on top and you will be able to get the letterbox. I carved this stamp up here when we brought our Brasillian exchange student (Isabella) up here for a few days just before New Year's. Please make sure the box is secure under the rocks so nature won't bother it.
