Move and replaced August 20, 2008
Take Interstate 91 to Exit 19 of Interstate 93N, take exit 1 and go Left on Route 18. At the bottom of the hill, turn right onto Route 2 at Pettyco Junction Country Store. Proceed 5 miles to Concord, take the first right onto Shadow Lake Road. Go 2.25 miles and pull over to the right side to enjoy a beautiful view of Shadow Lake and Franconia Notch. Continue your drive, you will pass the boat access. At the intersection of Shadow Lake RD and Long Hill Road (Shadow Lake RD veers right) turn left onto Long Hill Road. Less than half a mile on the right you will see the Normal School Monument. With your back to the monument, take 3 steps forward. Turn 90 degrees left, take 10 steps. Turn left again and look for a lone tree with silver bark. Behind the tree look for the "School House Rock" under the rock is the box!
