Boynton Buddy: Chasing Chicken LbNA #24736 (ARCHIVED)

To locate the Chasing Chicken, first locate the Sharp’s Spring Recreation Area off Jefferson Pike, in Smyrna TN. Follow the signs to the disc golf parking area. Spot a sign for the Ponds / Espey Trailhead and notice the mile marker sign should read 5 mile. Follow this nicely paved path for approximately ½ mile. Along the way you may cross the disc golf course a couple of times as they are near each other, but the box is on the main trail. You’re going the right way if you pass the trees of sharp springs. Pass the wildlife of sharp springs. Pass a pair of culverts on both sides of the path. Spot the 5.5 marker on the right side of the path. On the opposite side of the path is a wide spot / clearing. One tree near the center of this clearing is larger than the others. Behind it you will find your cammo’d quest. Room for hitchhikers, but bring your own ink and pen. Watch for muggles!
