Someone found this in May 2015 but it was gone when I checked 6/26/2015. Off to the archive it goes.

This past weekend I got a little letterboxing fever and planted 11 boxes and one Hitchhiker in about 24 hours. The area around Lake Dunmore is a place I have loved to see for thirty years and now felt some of it needed to be shared. The following letterboxes all were placed on August 18 and August 19, 2006:
Duck in the Headlights
Falls of Lana
Silver Lake (3)
Moosalamoo
Spirit in Nature
Robert Frost One
Robert Frost Two
Le Plessis Bourre’
Mr Frimble
Pirate Pete
Makishi Dancer
And the “Spiritual Center” hitch hiker
Take a look at a map for all of them, if you can, before you head out. Most will be close to either Route 73, Forest Road 32, Route 125 or Route 7. Some are quick, some quicker.
I flipped this stamp with Robert Frost #1, but hey, things happen. This box is at the Robert Frost Interpretive Trail on Route 125 in Ripton, Vt. between Ripton center and Breadloaf to the east. The trail parking lot is on the south side of the road, the picnic pull off on the north side has Robert Frost #1 in it. Two trails come into the parking lot, take the right one (right of the maintenance house). Follow to deck. T intersection, go right. To bridge over creek. Trail splits, go right up hill to bench. Go behind bench 8 steps. There are moss covered downed trees here, left ones under the pines. There is one tree larger/longer then the rest with its roots almost back top the trail. Under west end of downed tree is the Robert Frost #2 letterbox. This can be a wet area, please cover well.
