Rated: Easy 10 minutes in and out.
Bring clues for "ALL DOGS GO TO HEAVEN" and "FOR THE LOVE OF HORSES" both located very close by.

Located on an unmarked trail on Birch Mountain Rd.

LOOK OUT TOKYO...IT'S GODZILLA

DIRECTIONS: From the intersection of routes 83 and 94 in Glastonbury, drive east on 94 (Hebron Ave.) for 2.9 miles. Turn left onto Birch Mountain Rd. From here drive until you reach the powerlines. Look for a green gate on the opposite side of the road blocking vehicle access to the powerlines. Park in front of the gate.

Walk around the gate and up to where the trail splits. Turn right and enter the forest. Follow the trail as it snakes it's way gradually uphill passing rocks strewn about and many fallen trees. Godzilla must be near. Continue until you reach the longest fallen tree, with it's root base right on the edge of the trail (right side)From here take a reading of 315 degrees and take 23 steps to two rocks. Hidden behind the larger of the two is GODZILLA ! After stamping in return the way you came in or continue on just a bit to do "ALL DOGS GO TO HEAVEN"

GODZILLA - Was created in 1954 in Japan. The original movie was sold to America and has been a cult classic ever since. There have been dozens of movies made since. As well as movies, Godzilla has been turned into a cartoon show, toys and video games. The rock band Blue Oyster Cult even recorded the song Godzilla in 1977.
