The Count Dracula letterbox is located in the Westville Dam Recreation Area in Southbridge Ma. This area may be reached from I84 north at exit 1 in Mass. After exiting I84, turn right and then left onto Mashapaug Rd. Follow this road for 2.1 miles to Breakneck Rd. Turn left here and follow to the parking area for Westville Dam Recreation area. You can also reach this area from the intersection of Rtes. 131 and 20 in Sturbridge. Follow Rt. 131 for 2.2 miles to Wallace Rd. Turn right here and follow to the Recreation area.
From the information board in the parking area, follow the trail at 15 degrees. This trail starts going in a northeast direction.
You will cross a steel and cement bridge over the spillway at the dam. Do not look for Count Dracula under this bridge. I don't want to lose any letterboxers. After crossing the dam, follow the trail to the right of the Ranger Station in a southwest direction. At some point in your walk you will cross a wooden bridge about 36 feet long. Count Dracula resides under the southeast corner of this bridge. Enjoy the walk and the park.
