LOOKS LIKE THIS ONE IS GONE. I'LL TALK TO HUBBY ABOUT REPLACING IT. IT MAY BE BURIED UNDER LOTS OF WOOD FLOOD DEBRIS FROM THE FLOODING WE HAD THIS YEAR.

Take Georgetown Exit 261A off I-35. Head north on Williams Drive (FM2338). You will be looking for the 1st stop light after the interstate / frontage road lights (it's about 1/2 mile). Turn left on Rivery Blvd. At the next traffic light, turn right onto Country Club Road and follow it until you cross the bridge of the North San Gabriel River (about .8 mile). Immediately after the bridge is Chandler Park on your right. Park here.

Next to the river is a concrete hike and bike trail. Look for the green mile marker posts that are placed every 1/10 of a mile. You will be starting at mile marker 2.1. Every mile marker has ‘footprints’ in the concrete. Some are not at all what you would expect!

Follow the trail under the road bridge and across the foot bridge. After the foot bridge the trail turns sharply to the right.

At mile marker 1.9 you will find footprints of dangerous North American omnivore. Leave the trail here and follow the direction of the footprints for about 50 feet. Look for the formation in the rock that would be an obvious den for the creature you are tracking (well, a least a miniature version of it’s den might look like).

Inside you’ll find a lock-n-lock box containing a signed (foot) print of your quest as well as the logbook.

Good Luck
