THIS BOX IS MISSING AND THERE'S LOTS OF PI IN THE AREA
Old timers called this "The Ball Park" before it ever had a name. Most of us who grew up in these parts still refer to it as "The Ball Park" instead of the fancy new name.
Directions:
Park near the beginning of the paved path to the left of the basketball court.
Go to where the sidewalk ends.
Turn around.
Walk 34 steps along the outside of the fence to a drainage grate.
Look right. Follow gaze 16 steps to the path at the edge of the forest.
Follow path as it curves to the right along a steep embankment.
Listen for the flow of water.
Continue on path as you step over a couple fallen trees.
The sound of flowing water increases.
Pause at the brook. Enjoy the scenery. Take a deep refreshing breath.
Do not cross the brook.
To your left is a large moss covered resting spot which seems to point up hill to a rotting stump.
This stump holds what you seek. Please rehide well when finished and enjoy!
