This letterbox is part of the Now You See It, Now You Don’t contest. The goal of this Mid Missouri Letterboxers project is to hide boxes within viewing distance of well-traveled thoroughfares. Camouflage is the name of the game, so searchers will be working out in the public. As C2B2, the competitions creator, "please use all the stealth of a big game hunter and try your very best to keep anyone from noticing your stalk."
More information about this can be found on the Mid Missouri Letterboxer’s website: midmoletterboxing.blogspot.com in the July 2006 archive

This box like the contest suggests is in a very public place. Please be extra cautious with removing and replacing. There are several spots around to stamp up- enjoy, and e-mail me to let me know how it is doing! A little hint- the home of this spot can only be accessed during certain bibliophile business hours.

****NOTE- This box is back up and running- though the location has changed a bit, the clues do not- remember I am retiring this box in December- stamp up whilst you still can!

Long ago in a village shoppe, where tigers abound, worked a young book peddler whose love for a book was known far and wide. It was a tale of an old woman whose name means "Grandma Witch" who indeed did have a magic touch and when she was hungry she often sang:

bubble, bubble, pasta pot,
boil me some pasta, nice and hot,
I'm hungry and it's time to sup,
Boil enough pasta to fill me up.

And this book peddler indeed loved this tale and read it often to her young sons- for not only did she love this dear grandma witch, but also the small critter who lives amongst the pages and loves to hide behind grandma witches' skirt . . .
