AS OF JULY 2009, MISSING
Near a family oriented camp I grew up going to (see "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" - located very close!), is a wonderful and small lake. In the 70's and 80's, we were able to swim there, but now it's not possible to do so. But, it's still a beautiful place, and small enough to make a nice hike around it.
As you enter from the lake's mainn entrance, use the South Shore trail. (circle the lake going to the right)
Follow the upper trail for a while until you reach a very noticeable Y in the trail. (There are lots of "Y's" so be sure to go a ways.) You'll know you're almost there as you see that the trail leads down to a picnic and canoe launching area right near the lake. Take the trail down a small hill, count out apprx. 50 steps from the Y's split. To your right, you will see a cluster of 6 trees. In the middle, lies an old, dead tree on its side. Look carefully ALL around it and you'll will find the box.
Of course, be discreet and rehide well. Hurry before snow falls! Have fun!
