Clues
If you have ever lived anywhere for a length of time, you will see buildings abandoned and allowed to fall into disarray. These ruins often hold much soon forgotten history. These boxes takes you a couple of these places in the high desert. The first ruin, I was not able to obtain the history on (still researching). The second ruin is near the remains of the Outpost Wedding Chapel (completely demolished Mar 2008 - planted in honor of my sister and brother-in-law married there 26 years ago).
Your journey begins on Mariposa Road just one tenth of a mile north of Joshua Street (near the Hwy 395 and I-15 connector). Look carefully for the roadside stone marker where the old Rolar’s ‘route 66’ Gas Station was (on the freeway side). When you have found it, you will need to decipher the clues below. You can decypher the codes below by using the plaques words begining with "This..." the 1st digit is the line, 2nd the word, and third the letter. Note (0-0-0) is used for one letter not used on plaque.
