Clues: easy
Description: easy and wheelchair and stroller friendly though those confined to a wheelchair will need assistance retrieving and returning the box. Your leashed pet is welcome; please be responsible and clean up after your pet. The Shoppes at Briargate are the next entrance East; after your search, enjoy some shopping or a meal or snack (Maggie Moo's Ice Cream! Bailey says Yummy!)

Directions:
In north Colorado Springs from I-25, take exit 151 (Briargate Parkway). Just after the first light (State Highway 83) and before the entrance to the Shoppes at Briargate, there will be a driveway on the right. Pull in. There are 6 or 7 one hour parking spaces and a turnabout circle. Park.

Clues:
This is an urban drive-by letterbox. After parking, take a short walk up to view the Mustangs. On the way back, read up about the event that happened on this site in 1960, then step over the small wall and stand in the gravel behind the commemorative stone. Directly across from you is a row of shrubs still in the gravel, but bordering a mulched area. The 2 westernmost shrubs are Mugho pines. Under the lefthand pine, toward the mulched side, find a flat pinkish rock among the gravel. JamBailey is celebrating beneath it.

There is a pen and inkpad in the box. Please be certain to rehide the box well. This isn't a particularly well travelled area, but it is rather public, so please be subtle when stamping. Please let me know if the box needs anything. Thanks and enjoy.
