Mom-ism # 11 & 12 are located at Rose Hill Cemetery. The cemetery is at the NE corner of St Rt. 55 ( Market Street) and Staunton. We could find NO sign or any markings with the cemetery name on it. I have been in Troy for 30 years and have never seen a sign here.

West of the cemetery ( across Market Street) is the Board of Ed office and South of the cemetery ( across Staunton) are ball fields) You will want to park in this ball field parking lot. You can cross the street and enter the cemetery near the fence...the cemetery meets the sidewalk here.

Just north of the cemetery is a small church and at the time we planted these boxes you could park in the church driveway. Now there is a gate across the drive prohibiting that. However, the original clues were written from the perspective of that driveway so bear that in mind.
(# 13 is here also but has a separate clue page)

Mom-ism #11

Go to the SE corner of the cemetery. Go up the hill and while facing the railroad tracks look for a taller grave marker that says Moore. There was a flag at this grave and a veteran’s marker as well. On the south side of the grave a flat stone leans against the Moore marker. There is a small crevice near the ground made by this leaning stone. The leaning stone can be gently pulled back at the top if necessary. Look in that space.

Mom-ism #12

Look for a tall, narrow, pointed marker…looks to be made of brown marble, and indeed, bears the name BROWN. When you are facing the name,( also facing east) there will be a small area on your right ( at about the 1:00 position) surrounded by a low stone wall. (There are several such areas in this cemetery) Go to the far SE corner where you will see that the wall has many loose spots and “holes”. Look inside this wall and you should find the box you seek.
NOTE: 4-20-08 This box had been geocached and the stamp missing for many months. New stamp and logbook in place now. But box was lying out in the open when we got there.

Not a busy place but both roads which border it are busy. Please be discreet and rehide well.

Let us know if anything is amiss.
Thanks.
