To locate this box, Find the Community Center Nature Trail, near Towne Lake Park in McKinney. If you're coming in from the south, take the El Dorado exit and continue on the service road north past El Dorado to Park View. This road runs to the east and west just before the Cinemark 14 theater. Turn right (east) on Park View and make the first right into the closest parking lot. If you get to the stop sign you have gone too far.
Park in this lot and cross the bridge that leads to the Community Center Nature Trail. Continue walking south on the trail until you reach a paved roadway. Turn and walk left on the paved roadway, walking past the actual Community Center building that will be on your right. On your left you will see a trail entrance sign. Turn left and start walking the trail. Cross over three (3) wooden bridges and continue walking until you reach the "station #3" sign. Stand to read the sign. Looking to your right, find the trees that make the letter "V". It's actually 4 trees joined at the base; just about at your 2-3 o'clock. The letterbox is on the backside of the base of the trees covered with leaves, dirt, and sticks. When you are finished, continue down the trail and enjoy the sights!
