A fun walk to Will Warren den. 2 Miles round trip.
Directions: Rt. 6 Farmington East bound, limited parking on side of road at the top of Rattlesnake Mt. where the Metacomet Trail crosses.
Clues: Enter the Blue trail immediately to the right of the paved driveway, follow the blue blazes all the way to the den, identified by a plaque high on the rock face.
Just before W/W den take the unmarked trail on the left.
Just before crossing a stone wall, site 360 degrees to the base of the cliff 75 feet away, to find a snake hiding in a rock temple.
Please cover well, as this is a highly populated area.
