Disc-O!
Bring along your own Frisbee or other disc to play the holes, or just walk along and enjoy the view.
Locate the beginning of the Disc Golf Course at Moorman/Wavering Park (Score cards are available at the Batting Cage). Begin at hole #1 and follow the holes in sequential order. (Do not stray from the course near holes #1, #2 or #3—they border an archery range.)
After you finish Hole #9, continue on until you see the red arrow sign indicating Tee #10. A long log “bench” nearby provides a shaded resting spot. As you sit, survey the surroundings. From the #10 distance marker walk twelve paces to a very tall stump that seems to point to heaven. Your reward is inside. Be sure the rehide well!
Note: Spring through early fall are great times to find this box. A large Christmas light display make this box inaccessible from about Nov. 1– Jan. 1. After Jan. 1 until early spring, the park roads are closed, but can be accessed by foot.
