French Creek Nature Preserve is located on Colorado Ave (RT 611) West of the I-90/Rt-2 exit.
Park in the lot and head to the Southwest edge of the lot. You'll see a trail sign/map. Do not go into the nature center. Follow the path into the woods and to the left. At the top of the hill the path turns left to the nature center or down and around. On the left is a bench. Be on the lookout for a carved tree: Ash (heart'Z) Al. Just beyond this tree take the trail tot he left. At signpost #3 you'll see what remains of an old bridge support. Head to the left edge of this concrete structure and at the base of the rotten trees you'll find your LB under a large rock.
