Mr. Wardrop resided here with his family. If you get a chance take the tour; we found it very interesting.
Park in the lot and walk to the front of the house.
Put yourself in the stockads facing the drive.
From this vantage point you will see a cedar tree.
Walk to the cedar, but don't stay too long or you'll get a ticket!
From the cedar you will see a small fenced in piece of land with red storm cellar doors. Walk over there.
Facing the cellar doors pay your respects to the Wardrops as this is the final resting place for many of them.
Face NW and walk 19 paces to a twin trunked tree.
Directly to the woods edge (north)walk 11 paces from the twin trunked tree.
Just at the edge of the woods in a fallen log is what you seek.
