4-07 We have now moved 1000 miles away, not sure the status of this box and will not be able to check on it. SORRY
7-07 Just heard from someone that it is in good standing. It however will need a new log book soon. If someone wouldn't mind helping out- that'd be great and much appreciated!

A Cross from the park

This is a family friendly letterbox. The paths are stroller and wheelchair friendly. This is in a nice location with a large playground and a pool. The walking trails are great! Pack a picnic, you’ll want to stay all day.

There is a park in Mooresville that is across from a United Methodist church, whose catch phrase is “A Cross from the park.” It is located on Indianapolis Rd. Enter the park and park in the first lot. There is a paved trail from the parking lot that appears to head back to the road. Take this path. It follows the road, then curves into the park by the park office. Continue to follow it past the water slides and into the woods. Not too far in, your hunt begins. Look for a tree with a large arm sticking out. To the side of this tree you will see a few pieces of large concrete block. In front of the arm is a very straight tree. These two trees form almost a cross. What you seek is between the armed tree and the straight tree under a few more pieces of the concrete block. You can continue on this trail for a nice walk or head back the way you came in.
