This letterbox is named in honor of a cute grass snake with a mouth full of grasshopper I came upon; we each went our separate way. I chose to hide my letterbox at the Bosqueville cemetery. It is a beautiful place to walk around and look .It is located just out of Waco on Rock Creek Road. The first buried there was in 1850.
Traveling on I35 take the 339exit SW to Lake Shore Drive; this is also Loop340.This Is located on the Cracker Barrel side. Stay on Lake Shore Drive for 5 miles you will cross the Bosque and the Brazos rivers when you come to 19th street take a right for .9 miles, and again you will cross the Bosque. You will then come to Rock Creek Road on the right there turn right.. Stay on Rock Creek Road for .7 miles you will cross Steinbeck Bend road, continue on Rock Creek Rd. and you will come to the cemetery on the right. You will see the United Methodist church on the left.
Clues
Drive in to the Bosqueville cemetery by turning right. This road will veer to the left and then park along this road. You will see two oak trees on the left a smaller one and a large one that is growing close behind a tomb stone bearing the name Jasberry 1854 -1898. Place your back to the big tree, facing the road count 63 steps veering ever so slightly to the left. There are no graves in this era. The box is under a tree root on the back side of tree. Please recover well. Have fun and watch your step. Keeping in mind this is a cemetery and deserved respect. Thank you
