We are sorry to say but as of Nov 07 The Queen Bee is missing!!! We hope to replace in the Spring. Take Route 77 to Kettle Cove. Sit on Laila's bench and enjoy the view. Our grandmother(The Queen Bee) and her dog Theo loved to spend time here. Look towards your right and you will see where the lobsterman put in and take out their boats. Take a walk over to that direction and on your right you will see a clump of bushes with a smaller clump beyond that. Walk out onto the grassy point and you will notice rocks touching the grass on your left. Stand with each of your feet on two flat rocks in the grass that resemble footprints. Turn to your left and walk about 6 steps (be careful not to walk too many more than that). In the crevice at the back of a long yellow moss covered rock you will find our Queen Bee. Rehide under the rocks that we have placed there.
The Queen has returned! The letterbox is in place as of June st. Good Luck. Let us know if this ends up not being a "good" spot.
