Boxes # 19 and # 21 are located at Miami Memorial Cemetery. MMC is 2 miles North of Covington on St Rt 48. (seemed like more than 2 miles when we were driving it) You can leave Highland Cemetery and continue north.
Again, these boxes are out of sequence based on the type of container we found most suitable for the space available.
Box # 19
Locate the Freedom Veterans Section. There is a huge monument here that sits well back from the road. Walk up to the monument. While standing on the sidewalk in front of if, look directly to your left where you will see a lone shrub. What you see is nestled in its branches. Please re-hide well. This is our first attempt at using shrubs.
Box # 21
From the end of the veterans monument sidewalk…where it meets the road…
Walk a 220°… line…(I’d say not more than 50 yards) You’ll pass --- on your right --- the Good Shepherd statue with it’s low wall.
You should come to a tulip tree bordered tightly by 4 shrubs. The shrub at the NW corner of the tree contains the box.
Rehide well and be discreet. This cemetery was not busy on the Sunday we were there but there are no tombstones or tall monuents to block the vision of curious onlookers.
