THIS BOX IS CURRENTLY INACTIVE. NOTEBOOK HAS BEEN REPLACED 3 TIMES, AND NOW BOX IS MISSING. WILL RE-DO WHEN I CAN. FOR PREVIOUS HUNTERS, THANKS FOR THE NOTES! WE ARE GLAD YOU ENJOYED FINDING IT SO MUCH.

There is a city within this city,
Oh, it's a lovely place to see.
It has rivers, hills, and parks;
and a place whose name has all three.

With the Riverfest, a Wonderland,
and festivals galore;
it has a gazebo, a boardwalk,
and so much more!

Go east on the drive of the same name
from the street that equals 7 times 8;
then follow the river and
take a right on through the gate.

You can park beside the playground
and look up to the heaven,
then be sure to look for the sign
that tells of 1757.

Go towards the river and by the cross,
you'll begin your journey here.
But 1st...find Clayton and Lafferty,
you will need to know their two digit year.

Take time to stroll all the way to the end
(but don't get too close to the river's edge).
Head slightly north and circle round the stones,
then see where some cubs make a pledge.

To the south and the east,
there is a small path;
duck under the tree branch
and then start the math.

Count out the paces from the presidents past
and find the crooked tree that looks vaguely like a 'Y'.
Under the base of the tree is the box...at last.
Good luck, happy hunting...good bye!

Please note:

*Use bug spray as the mosquitos tried to eat us alive the last time we were there!*

Feel free to take some bread for the ducks,
but BEWARE of the birds;
some can get quite hungry,
and come flying down in herds!!
