Directions: From Intersection of Rt. 94 & 83 go east on 94 for 0.2
miles, turn right on Weir St., bear left on Ash Swamp Rd. go 1.3 miles
, turn right on Kongscut Valley Trail. At the end of the wooden fence ,
where you see the Red pipes this is where you enter the trail, but first
you must park at the end of the Cul de Sac near the Glastonbury open
space sign.

Clues: Walk back to the Red pipe turn left down wide dirt road where
future building might occur. At bottom of hill take trail to the left
where you will see a White circle declaring this Glastonbury Conservation
property. Where this trail turns left stay straight uphill. Where it
levels out the path narrows a bit with rock ledges on the left. At 3 way
intersection go straight at 310 degrees uphill with rock ledges on your
right. When you are almost at the top the trail goes between 2 large
rocks, look south for a round boulder next to a tree 30 steps off trail.
You will find King Kong Scut Snake at the base of the tree under the
rock overhang.

Go back down hill to the 3 way intersection, turn left continuing
downhill to another 3 way intersection, go right until you come to a
open area with greenhouses on your left just before reentering the woods
look right for a tree growing out of a rock outcropping. Half way down,
knee high, under root leg you will find a Wagon Wheel.

Continue the direction you were going, uphill, turning left to where you
entered.
(just before you get to the left turn for your car, there's a trail on
the left that goes to a neat little farm where you might see some
animals. respect their privacy and gaze from afar).
