Directions: From Intersection of Rt. 94 & 83 go east on 94 for 0.2
miles, turn right on Weir St, at fork bear left on Ash Swamp Rd. go 1.3 miles,
turn right on Kongscut Valley Trail. The trail starts at the end of the wooden fence near the red pipes on the right, but first
you must park at the end of the Cul-de-Sac near the Glastonbury open space signs (white circles high on the trees).

Clues: Walk back to the Red pipe, turn left down the wide dirt road where
future building might occur (I hope to keep an eye on this). At the bottom of hill take the trail to the left
where you'll see a white circle declaring this Glastonbury Conservation Easement
property (the first one is missing). When this trail turns left stay straight uphill. When it
levels out the path narrows a bit with rock ledges on the left. At 3 way
intersection (with man made apparatus up the left trail) bear right, walk 60 steps to a twin sister tree on the left, about 10 steps off trail. You can find a Happy House (then) hiding under a root of the beech tree.

Continue downhill. At the bottom, turn right to find a chimney on the left side of the trail. Continue on the trail, eventually coming to a large boulder on the right side of the trail. Facing this boulder there will be five trees along the right side of it. Look behind tree #5 for Happy House (now).

Continue in the direction you were going, crossing an open area with greenhouses to the left, go uphill and turn left back to your car.

Hunting is allowed. Wear orange or search for this box on sundays.
