This letterbox is hidden in Wilburton Park in Bellevue, WA. Wilburton has sports fields, children's play areas and a beautiful Japanese Garden and Botanical Area. It seemed a fitting time of year to plant a letterbox in the forest trails here, which are full of maple trees. This box is available year round (even in the rain!) and the trail is flat the whole way.

In Bellevue, on I-405, take the NE 8th exit and head east. Go a couple miles and then take a right turn onto 124th Ave NE. Turn left into Wilburton Hill Park and park in the lot near the children's play equipment. Start your trek at the map kiosk and then take the trail that leads left, going toward a baseball field. At the Y go right and follow the trail that goes into the trees. At the first switchback, go straight onto the narrower trail. Immediately after the fence on the right, look for the biggest multi-trunked tree on your left. The Falling Leaves letterbox is hidden behind that tree under bark and fallen leaves. PLEASE rehide it well, as this trail is popular.
