It is time to find a Marigold in Rye Preserve.
Rye Preserve is 8.4 miles from the intersection of I-75 and SR 64. At the end of the ramp, go East on SR 64 3.7 miles. Turn left on Rye RD East and travel 3.3 miles. Proceed straight along, crossing the bridge over the river. Rye Preserve is on the right.
Drive past the pavilion and across the bridge.
Keep on going until you see the yellow trail marker on the right. ( if you get to the Sheriff's Youth Ranch- you have gone too far).
Park on the dirt road.
Enter the yellow trail.
Keep walking for awhile. Pass the cement blocks on the left.
Take a left at the fork in the trail.
Walk until you reach the barbed wire fence and continue right on the trail.
Come to the end of the fence and see a yellow trail sign.
Stand at the sign and turn right.
Walk 9 paces on the trail.
On the right, there will be an oak tree split into 3.
Palm fronds and moss cover the middle of the 3 parts of the tree.
Marigold is under the moss and palm fronds.
