Both boxes are missing.

From Highway 11, head east on Clayburn Road to find Clayburn Village. If time permits, stop in and explore the Clayburn Village Store and Tea Shop. A fine example of the adaptive reuse of a heritage building, lovingly restored. Enjoy the tea and scones, or perhaps a sandwich or cheese plate, in this still operating general store. The selection of English candy is one of the best in the Valley.

Store Hours: Tuesday through Saturday: 9 am to 5 pm, Sunday: 12 am to 5 pm. Closed: Mondays, mid January to mid February and first three weeks of September.

From the Clayburn Village Store and Tea Shop continue east 1.8 km staying left (Straiton Road) to find Clayburn Creek Trail. It is marked with two signs: One naming the trail, and one naming Poignant Creek.

On a contrary day, on the wrong side of dusk,
you enter the path - because you must.
You have two to find, and both await
in rocky dens - they are your fate.

Begin your hunt, keep your wits as you rise.
Your progress is watched by a thousand eyes.
A bulging cedar up to the left
has eaten another who began this quest.

A harsh entwined fence, and crossway tooled,
are scars from when a dark troll ruled.
A terrible massacre on the left
sent many fine nobles to their final rest.

A point, to right view, then pace nine,
In the rocks, hidden, The Familiar you'll find.

A willowy creature stands alone and bereaved.
A cautious group of twelve, eternally leaved.
Two high roads, they are not hidden.
One is guarded and is forbidden.

Watch for the boulders, moss covered and sleeping,
then two guarded beds - the water is weeping.
Ominous twin cedars stand guard on the right...
joined at birth, they have grown to great height.

Across from them hiding in deep, dank stone,
is the terrible and wicked Halloween Crone.
