****UPDATE****
It has come to our attention that this box is frequently being vandalized and being broken into by people doing drugs and people who are evidently partying near this particular box. You may also wish to be careful where you step when going to this box as evidently some of these people are also evidently using the woods as a loo (restroom or toilet). We are very sorry. When we placed this box it seemed to be a beautiful little park that was peaceful and enjoyable. We hope that our other boxes are much more fun and enjoyable. Take care and God Bless.
Take Walnut Bottom Road West. Thornwald Park will be on your left. Park along the road in front of the park.
Follow the sidewalk East past the gazeebo. Veer off of the sidewalk onto the road to your right. There will be a brick carriage house on your left and a set of stone steps to your left. Go straight. Follow the road for awhile until you come to some Rhododendron and the first of a pair of benches. Follow the trail up the hill and turn right. Follow this trail past the fallen logs until you come to several ivy covered trees. Look ahead to the broken tree to find what you seek. Its covered with bark. Be careful about letting anyone see you uncover the box. Have fun and enjoy the tranquil forest.
