Take Hanover St. (Route 34 or Holly Pike) South toward Mt Holly Springs. Take a right onto Pine St. Follow Pine St. for a little while. Stuart Park at Barnitz Mill is on the right hand side of the road. If you go over the railroad tracks you have gone too far. Park near the area with the wooden fence next to the stream.
This is a popular fishing spot here in the Carlisle area, however, the park itself is beautiful. The paths are peaceful to walk on and offer an immense array of flora and fauna. It also offers a playground with a junglegym and picnic tables.
When you get out of the car. Go between the posts onto the path. Follow the main path past the stone bench. Go around the bend in the trail. Keep your eye out for Heron. You might even see one take flight, we did, it was amazing. Continue on down the trail. You will come to another bend in the trail. To your left in the trees you'll see a tree house or deer stand. We're not sure which. While facing this structure look to your right and the fallen logs to locate the box. It is covered by bark. Please be careful not to let anyone see you. You can either retrace your steps or continue through the park on its many paths. We hope you enjoy the park as well as the box.
